About LARE

LARE exists because the distance between an Indian classroom and an Indian workplace is longer than either side admits.

We are a technology company that also trains people, and a training company that also builds software. That combination is deliberate.

01Our story

How we got here.

A student finishes four years of engineering with a good transcript and no evidence they can build anything. A recruiter interviews forty of them and hires three, then concludes the batch was weak. A head of department knows the curriculum is dated but has no budget, no faculty bandwidth, and no way to prove the problem to a management that sees full attendance and passing marks.

Everyone in that chain is behaving rationally. The chain still produces a bad outcome.

We started by running training programmes on campuses, which taught us that training alone changes very little — a good programme with no way to measure or transmit its results is just a better-spent semester. So we built the measurement layer, which became LARE LMS. Then we found the hiring end was failing for the same reason, and built LARE Drive.

The company now sits across all three: we prepare students, we give institutions the instruments to see what is actually happening, and we run the hiring infrastructure that lets employers act on it. Products, training, recruitment and consulting are not four business lines. They are four positions along the same chain, and the value is in holding all of them at once.

02 — Vision

An Indian graduate's employability should be a function of what they can do, visible to anyone who needs to know it — not of which college they attended or who they know.

03 — Mission

To build the platforms, run the programmes and operate the hiring infrastructure that make capability legible: to the student who has it, the institution producing it, and the employer looking for it.

04Core values

What we hold ourselves to.

These are operational, not aspirational — each one shows up somewhere in how the product or the delivery actually works.

01

Evidence over assertion

A claim about a student, a programme or a product should be backed by something inspectable. This is why our certificates link to artefacts and our proctoring flags are reviewed by people.

02

Say what we won't do

Every proposal we write includes the scope we are declining and why. An engagement that quietly expands past what a client can absorb helps nobody.

03

Build for the worse network

Our software is designed against a tier-three campus connection, not an office fibre line. If it only works in good conditions, it does not work.

04

Transfer the capability

Faculty development runs alongside delivery; consulting engagements end with runbooks and training. We would rather be re-hired than depended upon.

05

Small numbers we can defend

We would rather report a smaller placement figure we can substantiate than a larger one assembled generously. The sector has enough of the latter.

06

The student is the point

Institutions and employers are who we invoice. Students are who the work is for, and when those interests diverge we resolve it in the student's favour.
