Draft pending legal review. This is a good-faith description of our practice, not a lawyer-approved document. It must be reviewed against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 — including the consent notice, grievance officer designation and children's-data provisions — before publication.
01What we collect
Through this website: your name, email address, phone number, organisation and whatever you write in a form, when you submit a contact enquiry, request a demo or proposal, subscribe to the newsletter, register for an event, or apply for a role.
If you create a careers account we additionally store the education, experience, skills and résumé details you enter, so you do not have to re-enter them for a later application.
We collect basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited — for security and aggregate analytics. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not embed third-party maps or video players that would set cookies on your behalf.
02Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry. To send you the document you asked for. To run an event you registered for. To assess a job application. To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
03Student and candidate data in our platforms
LARE LMS and LARE Drive process data about students and candidates on behalf of the institution or employer who engaged us. In that relationship the institution or employer determines the purpose, and we process on their instruction under contract.
That data is stored in India, encrypted in transit and at rest, retained for a contractually agreed period, and deleted on written instruction. Assessment and proctoring recordings are subject to a stated retention window disclosed to candidates before they are recorded.
Candidates are told before an assessment exactly what is monitored. Automated proctoring flags are reviewed by a person before they affect any decision about a candidate.
04How long we keep it
Website enquiries: up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted.
Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
Careers accounts and applications: up to 24 months from your last application, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Platform data: per the contract with the institution or employer concerned.
05Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for anything you previously consented to.
Write to us and we will respond within thirty days. If you are unsatisfied with our response you have the right to escalate to the relevant data protection authority.
06Security
Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it, logged, and reviewed. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority of a personal data breach without undue delay.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in our platforms, please write to us before disclosing it publicly and we will work with you on a fix.
07Changes
If we change this policy materially we will say so on this page and, where we hold your email address for that purpose, notify you directly. We will not quietly broaden how we use data you gave us under an earlier version.
