01Context

Why this programme exists.

CITD has trained tool and die engineers for Indian manufacturing since 1968. As that manufacturing base digitises, the institute's cohorts increasingly need software, cloud and data capability alongside mechanical fundamentals — and that capability is not something a mechanical engineering faculty can be expected to build overnight.

LARE delivers that layer: practitioner-led instruction, lab infrastructure, assessment and reporting that meets the documentation standards a central institute operates under.

02Scope

What we deliver.

  1. 01

    Curriculum co-design

Modules designed jointly with CITD faculty so software content connects to the institute's existing manufacturing and tool-design coursework rather than sitting beside it.

  2. 02

    Practitioner delivery

Working engineers delivering applied software, cloud and data modules on site, with LARE LMS carrying content, assessment and attendance.

  3. 03

    Lab enablement

Environment setup, tooling and reference material so the institute can continue running the practical components independently.

  4. 04

    Faculty development

Parallel FDP tracks that transfer teaching capability to CITD faculty over the life of the engagement.

  5. 05

    Assessment & certification

Proctored assessment on LARE Drive, with credentials tied to demonstrated work rather than attendance.

03 — Delivery model

How it runs on the ground.

  • On-site instruction at the CITD campus
  • LARE LMS for content, submissions and continuous assessment
  • LARE Drive for proctored end-of-module assessment
  • Monthly progress reporting to the institute
  • Audit-ready attendance and outcome documentation

04 — Compliance

The reporting standard.

Public programmes are audited. The documentation trail is part of the deliverable, not an afterthought.

  • Ministry of MSME reporting format
  • Biometric attendance records
  • Milestone-linked delivery
  • Audit-ready documentation trail

05Outcomes

Where it stands.

Figures marked pending verification have not yet been confirmed against the programme's own records. We publish them as provisional rather than rounding up.
