02 — Services

Real work, supervised, with something to show for it.

Talk to us first

Structured internship tracks that place students on live problems under practitioner supervision — and produce evidence of capability, not a completion letter.

01The problem

What's actually broken.

The internship market has largely collapsed into certificate-selling. Students pay for a six-week programme, watch recorded videos, submit a toy project, and receive a PDF. It teaches nothing, proves nothing, and has trained an entire generation of recruiters to ignore the internship line on a résumé.

02Our approach

How we work.

  1. 01

Every intern is assigned to a real problem with a real reviewer and a real deadline.

  2. 02

Work happens in version control, in the open, and is code-reviewed.

  3. 03

Supervision ratio is capped so reviews are substantive.

  4. 04

The output is a portfolio artefact the student owns and can show.

  5. 05

Institutions receive a supervisor's report, not a template certificate.

03Offerings

6 ways we deliver this.

Most engagements combine two or three. We will tell you which combination we think fits, including when the answer is none of them.

Short-Term Internship

A single scoped deliverable, start to finish.

Four to six weeks on one well-defined problem. Suited to summer and winter breaks where the constraint is calendar time.

Duration
4–6 weeks
Format
Remote or hybrid

Long-Term Internship

Semester-length placement inside a delivery team.

Three to six months embedded in an active project with incremental responsibility, sprint participation and a formal mid-term review.

Duration
3–6 months
Format
Hybrid or on-site

Live Projects

Client work, with client stakes.

Small teams on a genuine client deliverable under a LARE lead. Scope is real, the review bar is the same as for staff, and the work ships.

Duration
6–12 weeks
Format
Team-based

Virtual Internship

Fully remote, structured, and still supervised.

For students who cannot relocate. Asynchronous by default with two synchronous reviews a week and the same artefact requirement as on-site tracks.

Duration
6–10 weeks
Format
Fully remote

Hybrid Internship

Remote execution, on-site milestones.

Weekly remote work with fortnightly on-campus or on-site intensives for review, pairing and demonstration.

Duration
8–12 weeks
Format
Hybrid

Industrial Visits

Structured exposure, not a day out.

Facilitated visits to partner engineering and manufacturing environments with a pre-brief, a guided observation framework and a post-visit assessment.

Duration
1–3 days
Format
Group

The numbers, with their caveats.

Figures marked as pending verification are exactly that. We would rather show you the gap than fill it in generously.
