01 — The problem
The practical component of Indian school science is the part most likely to be skipped. Apparatus is expensive, breaks, and is often locked in a cupboard because replacing it is not in the budget. A single lab serves several hundred students, so a 'practical' becomes forty pupils watching one demonstration from the back of the room.
The result is students who can state Ohm's law and have never built a circuit, who can define titration and have never watched an indicator change. They then meet the apparatus for the first time in a board practical exam, or in a first-year engineering lab, and it shows.
The gap is worst in exactly the schools that can least afford it — which is where the pilot is aimed.
02 — The solution
Vidya Verse gives every student their own virtual bench. They select apparatus, assemble it, run the experiment, and get a wrong result when they set it up wrongly — because that is where the learning is.
Experiments are built against the state and NCERT practical syllabus, so a teacher can set the same experiment the curriculum already requires rather than working around a separate product.
It is designed for the hardware schools actually have: low-end lab desktops and shared tablets, on connections that drop.

04 — Why this one
Most 'virtual lab' products are an animation with a play button. If the student cannot set the apparatus up incorrectly, they are watching a video.
The design constraint is a government school computer lab, not a well-funded private campus. That governs the hardware target and the bandwidth budget.
Teachers are not asked to run a parallel system. The output slots into the practical record they already maintain.
